Sedona Yoga Videos – Movement for Life
Movement for Life
with Cherlita Brenman
Movement for Life is a yoga inspired gentle movement video series that targets every joint in the body and takes it through its range of motion; suitable for all, from those that are just beginning to take an interest in their health to those that would like to add some diversity to their fitness plan. The video series will also be helpful for those with Upper Cross Syndrome. Upper cross syndrome is condition that is occurring in a majority of the the adult population and is the result of our forward bending posture when we sit, work at the computer, text, read and drive. The symptoms are neck, upper shoulder and shoulder blade pain. The pain can also travel into the arm and low back. Being mindful and working to correct our posture and increase back shoulder through exercise and movement will greatly decrease the symptoms of this syndrome. My DVD, “Movement for Life” is a valuable tool in correcting the condition. The segment on “Computer Break Stretches” deals directly with the symptoms and cause of the syndrome.
The “kitchen sink,” “computer break” and “low back” stretches are short five minute series that can be done anytime of day. Remember as we grow older, the more we move, the more we get to move!
